Tamborine Mountain is in the Hinterland of the Gold Coast in SE
Queensland. It is easily accessed from the M1 Motorway Exit 57 at
Oxenford and by following the signs to Tamborine Mountain. The trip
from the M1 will take about 25 minutes and drive you through some of SE
Queensland's beautiful hinterland.

Volunteers do the majority of the work
at the Botanic Gardens. Thursday morning is the time most of us meet to
carry out routine tasks and interesting jobs such as area maintenance,
mowing, planting, fertilizing and mulching, weed and disease
control, feristalling irrigation, building projects
and garden construction.
It is a fun time and no particular
skills are required. If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer,
we would welcome you. We have many areas that need someone
to 'take on' as their special interest. Contact the Manager or Curator
or just turn up anytime between 7.30 and 12 noon on any Thursday to meet
us. Bring along a thermos of coffee and join us for morning tea. You
will find us a really welcoming and friendly group of people.
For further information contact the Manager, the Curator, or just drop in.
